Arrive in Shimla and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, begin your half-day city tour with a visit to the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, an impressive English Renaissance building that once served as the Vice Regal Lodge. Explore its beautiful lawns and surrounding woodland. Next, head to Jakhoo Temple, located at Shimla’s highest point, offering panoramic views and a serene atmosphere at the Lord Hanuman shrine. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the iconic Mall Road and The Ridge—Shimla’s bustling heart lined with shops, cafes, and colonial landmarks like Christ Church and the Tudor-style library. Visit other attractions such as Sankat Mochan Temple, Vaishno Devi Gufa, and the Himalayan Bird Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, head out for an excursion to Kufri, a scenic hill station known for its Himalayan National Park, pony and yak rides, and stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan range. After lunch, return to Shimla for a sightseeing tour of its historical landmarks. Visit the Shimla Mosque (built in 1830), the majestic Vice Regal Lodge (built in 1885), and Christ Church (built in 1844). Explore the Gaiety Theatre, once home to the world’s first beauty contest in 1887, and the historic Grindlays Bank, established in 1912 by Robert Melville Grindlay. Wrap up the day at Scandal Point and enjoy shopping at the vibrant Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
